Forced into peace?

People keep sharing that if Arabs put down their weapons they would have peace with Israel, but if Israel put down its weapons there would be no Israel.

How quickly people forget AD70.

Those who dropped their weapons and fled for the hills per Jesus' advice all lived, from the oldest to the youngest. These survivors all dropped their weapons. They did the opposite of what many Christians think people should do in that circumstance.

Those who didn't listen to Jesus' words, who behaved as many Christians think they should, who didn't trust His ways as the best ways, and didn't accept Him as the Messiah because He didn't conquer His enemies through war, ended up waging war and they picked up their swords and were all killed and thrown into Gehenna.

They say history repeats itself, let's hope it's not true. But if you live be the sword you will eventually die by the sword.

One person has to drop the sword first, because they want to not because they are fo…

Don't be hatin'

I think many Christians are gonna be upset when they meet a person who was gay, a nazi, a Muslim, a Palestinian, a communist, a socialist, a liberal, and a whole lot of other people they hate and feel are worthless in heaven.

I know I'm gonna be standing there with my HeavenPhone 777 and take a pic of their faces to post on FaithBook.

I'll be laughing with them, not at them.

Break up with violence

Violence is like a crazy ex that you think you can't get over. When you finally meet the "One," you realize you'd rather spend your life married to Peace, and you dump that psycho tramp Violence at the curb.

I'm not a millionaire duck hunter, I'm not a harbinger of end times eschatology, I don't vilify gay people or Arabs, I'm not a ranch owner who stole from the government for years, I'm not a corporation, I don't own a sports team, I don't wave any country's flag, I believe in peace, I'm not greedy, I don't want to see anyone die, I worship Jesus not any person or people groups, I don't persecute anyone, and I don't have a show on Fox News.

No wonder I'm not that popular with many people on here.

Send them to hell

It's funny, the ones that believe the strongest in mainstream Christianity's version of "Hell" are also the ones that support sending as many people as possible to that place by killing them as swiftly as they can in retribution for anything.

It's not that they intentionally show mercy, a Christ-like mercy, so that the people have a lifetime's chance to come to the saving knowledge of Christ. Nope, it's just "blow them the "f" off the planet.", even if they are youth.

Makes perfect sense.

Undue pressure

Are we as Christian parents putting undue pressure on our children or feeding into the growth of arrogance and superiority, with the constant speaking over them of platitudes in the church calling them "world changers", telling them they will do great things for God, telling them they will become great, etc.?

Can't we simply tell them that we, and God, are proud of them, and we, and God, love them unconditionally, and we, and God, support wherever the light leads them on their path, and we, and God, are there for them every step of the way?

Is it a disservice to step back and let God direct and guide them to change the world whether their world will consist of an entire country, a single household, or a single person?

Have we decided what doing great things for God consists of and then warped their minds into believing that unless they speak to crowds of 10 thousands they have fallen short and not lived up to God's expectations?

I'm all for speaking things ove…

David or Goliath

If you claim to be David fighting Goliath, but your behavior is of Goliath fighting David, eventually a single stone is going to show the truth of which one you truly are.

Maybe we are seeing that today by the power of social media.

Public opinion

They had reached a point in time years before where facts no longer mattered, opinion did. People themselves didn't want to hear facts because with the facts came responsibilities to uphold the "right" thing, and many due to their own biases, bigotry, hatred, or prejudices were clamoring for a way to escape guilt over supporting actions their conscience told them was wrong.

Those in power quickly realized what the public was clamoring for and they placed enormous sums into controlling public opinion, they realized that they could get away with any atrocious acts if they simply manipulated people into believing their lies. The lies became more and more brazen, but the people still wallowed in them like pigs in slop.

A time came where it became an every day occurrence. The worst part was when those who are to have a different mind relished in the whispers of deception and gladly ate of the dark bile they were being fed out of the mouths of serpents. They began to savor …

Bad eschatology

I wholeheartedly believe bad eschatology is behind most of the support for wars in the Middle East by Christians.

Any teaching that leads you to feel superior to another person or group, is false teaching.

The easiest way to receive support and assistance for bad treatment of an opponent is to dehumanize that opponent.

Make them appear as subhuman, or of such an evil that your supporters no longer judge them as worthy of the rights of other human beings.

This type of manipulation has been successful in various types of conflicts, from occupation, to wars, to slavery, etc. for ages.

Many are a victim of this manipulation in our country right now and don't even realize it.

Black Jesus

Can we really be mad at Cartoon Network's Adult Swim and the show "Black Jesus" for misrepresenting Jesus, when the church for decades has been presenting a Jesus to people that is nothing like Him?

If we who supposedly know Him can't get Him right, then how foolish is it for us to get upset when people who don't know Him don't get Him right?

War is not sanctioned, supported, or waged by God

Jesus is not involved in the actions that cause this on both sides.

If you think He is, you don't know Him.

Stop with the nonsense, Jesus is not involved in any war. His way to defeat an enemy was to give His life, not take another's life.

Those praying in support of war, any and all wars across the globe, are actually praying to darkness and speaking curses over others with your calling down of fire.

You don't know what spirit your are of.

The path to peace is paved by only One Man's Blood, not in the countless gallons of blood of those around the world that are continuing to bleed.

God's chosen people.

I am saying this in a sympathetic manner.

If you are a believer in Christ, in Jesus as your Messiah, you are in fact a part of a group called "God's chosen people." We must be careful to not get confused over things and turn other people or groups into demigods or idols due to misinterpretation.

Anyone that has told you something different, and even argued it with scripture, or if you have come to this conclusion yourself, that a different group other than believer's in Christ of any nation, sex, or background are "God's chosen people", that is very bad exegesis or hermeneutics.

I know it can be confusing, but the Spirit will be only too happy to let you know who you are in Christ and your value to Him, He absolutely loves to convict you, convince you, of your righteousness through Christ and how special you actually are.

Don't get caught up in idolatry of any sort.

I wanted to add that God loves all people, this is not meant for a believer to get bi…

Good guys or bad guys?

We've been brainwashed to look at those we agree with as the "good guys" and those we disagree with as the "bad guys", and that is just one more lie from the pit of hell.

Keep that in mind when you look at world events, maybe those you don't agree with do good in their own way, and maybe those you agree with do bad in their own way.

Regardless of their actions, we should be looking at all people, no matter the religion, the region, the skin tone, the sexual preferences, the education, the immigration status, or the political party through the eyes of Christ.

He didn't label people as "good guys" and "bad guys", He looked at them as lost sheep, each and every one of them. And when He looked at them He was moved with compassion.

For each and every one of them...

Where is my hope?

Hope will never come in the form of a politician, in the shape of an animal, nor draped in red, white, and blue.

Mainstream Christianity has decided to involve itself quite intimately into war, politics, and nationalism. It's almost like witnessing ourselves in the throes of adultery against the One whom we are married to when we finally open our eyes to where much of our "love" actually belongs.

Oh, how we never should have trusted the lies.

When I hear that one party or the other is the "Christian party", or that one country or another is a "Christian nation" I throw up a little in my mouth and then I shake my head because we all have gotten sold a bad bill of goods by leaders (of the church) and teachers (of the church) for far too many years.

But any destruction of this country has been in the works for more than 8 years, and overlapped both parties, it's not surprisingly represented by gold, and is known by the name of greed.

Envision a serpen…

Struggling to pray for your leaders?

You think Obama is so bad and so evil, and you just can't find it in your heart to pray for our leaders?

Jesus had His disciples and the many followers of His praying for, and :::gasp:::, obeying even, their leaders...

even a leader like Nero.

Nero of all people!

You haven't seen brutality until you find out what Nero did to Christians, yet Jesus wanted His followers to pray for and obey that guy.

You cover your eyes or just plain refuse to even watch the torturous scenes in horror movies?

The utter depravity and sheer psychosis of Nero puts that to shame, and he actually did these things to people in real life, it wasn't make believe or special effects.

Look around, we still live in one of the wealthiest countries, with opportunities even today, and you can even worship your God with no fear of being put on a stake and burned alive having your body used as a night light to light up your local city park by your leaders, and you really find it so, so difficult to pray …

False god, false religion

If your religion and your god causes you to believe the life of a Christian or a Jew is more important than the life of a homosexual or a Muslim, and you can be smug and callous about their loss of life, your religion is as false as your god is.

Tricks are for kids.

One of the greatest tricks satan pulled on Christians is getting them to read Jesus through the lens of the Old Testament, instead of reading the Old Testament through the lens of Jesus.

Perfect time for bible study

With the perceived worship of "God's chosen people" Israel, with the supporting of "taking up swords", with the way that mainstream Christianity unfortunately has ingrained themselves into world political parties, how we are being taught to excuse, justify, and endorse wars and killings, and with the every day attacks on those in authority in this country, I thought today would be a perfect day to study the Bible.

Would you care to join me?

I sure hope so, do you have your bible nearby, or a bible app on your phone? I'll give you a couple minutes to get it loaded up.

Ok, here we go, friends.

Let us open to 1 Peter 2, and begin with verse 4, I am reading out of the New American Standard Bible (NASB), but you are welcome to use your favorite translation.

Ok, read along with me...

And coming to Him as to a living stone which has been rejected by men, but is choice and precious in the sight of God, you also, as living stones, are being built up as a spir…

Stop trying to force people into boxes.

I feel sorry for people stuck in boxes and consumed with labels.

I have empathy for those they try to force into their boxes and label. It sucks to be victimized by such daft individuals.

If they only knew the true freedom in not having to be anything, but being everything at the same time.

Making crooked paths straight.

Perfectly sums up why I share what I share and my theological journey into making a crooked path straight:

The Calf-Path by Sam Foss

One day through the primeval wood
A calf walked home as good calves should;

But made a trail all bent askew,
A crooked trail as all calves do.
Since then three hundred years have fled,
And I infer the calf is dead.

But still he left behind his trail,
And thereby hangs my moral tale.

The trail was taken up next day,
By a lone dog that passed that way;

And then a wise bell-wether sheep
Pursued the trail o'er vale and steep,

And drew the flock behind him, too,
As good bell-wethers always do.

And from that day, o'er hill and glade.
Through those old woods a path was made.

And many men wound in and out,
And dodged, and turned, and bent about,

And uttered words of righteous wrath,
Because 'twas such a crooked path;

But still they followed—do not laugh—
The first migrations of that calf,

And through this winding wood-way stalked
Because he wobbled whe…

If you don't know the truth, you fall for any lies.

One of the biggest lies in modern Christianity in the U.S. is this:

That generations that were raised on Bronson, Eastwood, Stallone, Schwarzenegger, and Statham have it stuck in their minds that Jesus is an angry figure with his shirt torn off showing his chiseled chest, glistening with sweat, draped in red, white, and blue, riding on the barrel of a M1 tank, and holding an M60 with the ammo belt wrapped around his arm tearing His so called "enemies" apart.

And of course in their mind His "enemies" are the people they don't agree with, politically, societally, spiritually, racially, sexually, or theologically.

That is a lie straight from a satanic pit, cleanse your mind of this falsehood and renew your mind. Jesus isn't some single minded, vengeance filled, retaliatory, muscled up, jock type action hero, quick to shoot first and ask questions later.

He is so far beyond what our minds, manipulated by Hollywood blockbusters, consider a hero, and His versio…

Know God, Know Jesus, Know Spirit, then you can know the truths from the bible

It's funny with all the times I share that the bible doesn't make the claims people do about itself, those same people do so many things that are not biblical even though they cling so strongly to this inerrant argument and try to beat me up with scriptures. I seem to hold the words of scripture in higher esteem than they do, knowing it is not inerrant.

Ok, if you follow your bible stop crying out for "more" of God, you have the fullness. Stop asking for God's presence, He will never leave or forsake you, or that you are separated from Him, nothing can separate you from His Love. Stop calling yourself a sinner, you are a Saint. Stop holding on to your old man, the old man is dead, you are a new creation. Stop "carrying your cross" you carry it once and then you died with Him, you were buried with Him, and you rose with Him. I could go on and on showing how unbiblical the most biblical claim to be.

There are 3 things you need to really understand script…

Stay away from the world? Really?

I've noticed that people cling to scriptures that seem to imply that we should not spend time with the lost, that we should come out of the world, that we are not for this place, etc. Who am I to go against that, it is written in scripture after all.

See, I admit and agree that those words do seem to be in scripture, but interestingly enough, Jesus seemed to have modeled the exact opposite. He spent most of His time with the lost, with some of the "worst" of the lost, in mainstream Christianity's eyes. In fact He spent time with them right where they were at not in a temple built by human hands.

You see, a few years back I was drawn to a Love that I can't even begin to describe and at that time, I, in the blink of an eye was made new. I made a conscious decision that moment to follow that Man of unconditional Love, that God of Love, and follow Jesus the Christ.

The thing is that by in fact following Jesus I have unfortunately ran into some that are so quick to s…
