  We have a culture that is brought up on vengeance, eye for an eye, kill em all, blow them to hell, where people fight over neighborhoods, states they live in, sports teams, favorite drinks, etc. Where people support going to war and occupying a country that was innocent, where people support another country building a wall around another group and trying to commit genocide, where people celebrate a sniper that killed people that were only defending their country from an occup ying force, a culture raised on exceptionalism, self centeredness, self absorption, and celebration of self, a culture that is unwilling to help the least, that cuts funding for programs that assist the poor, a culture that closes it's borders to needy immigrants fleeing danger, and you wonder why there is a problem with violence in this country? And by the way I was just talking about and describing American Christians™, I wasn't even talking about non Christians.

  The reason we live in a "godless society" is because most American Christians™ don't seem to know the God Jesus showed the world. They mostly know an amalgamation of Egyptian and Greek false gods that love violence, kill their enemies, and rely on might not mercy to overcome.

The interesting thing is that very similar statements as in this article at Creation.com, http://creation.com/will-cornick-murders-teacher?utm_media=email&utm_source=infobytes&utm_content=us&utm_campaign=emails , were made by an American Sniper , and they seem to be perfectly fine and acceptable, and even "Christians" support them. Quite disturbing to witness recently if you ask me. Here are the statements and incident I am addressing: "The horrendous stabbing murder of an English high school teacher and the comments the perpetrator made afterwards are a potent reminder of the possible effects of evolutionary thinking on impression able minds. People think I'm naive for promoting peace and diplomacy in place of war. Saying that if people walk in peace they will just be killed or abused. You have to fight to live. People can't come together at a table, break bread, drop egos, and make a change.  Maybe you're right, maybe people are hopeless, maybe people are self absorbed, ego driven, prideful, selfish, greedy, war mongering, vindictive , vengeful, wicked, deceptive, and evil. Maybe that's all true. But you know what? War only brings the negative out in people, so what do you think feeds those negative emotions in man? Certainly not peace. Looking at the crime rate and the amount of wars going on across the world right now, and the deaths and abuse in all of those wars, your way doesn't seem to have much of a leg to stand on either. So it's not like shooting for peace can make things any worse. You may be surprised by the results.

Many times I get accused of "following man" due to what I share, and my beliefs. The interesting thing about that is that almost 100% of the time it's an accusation from people who's core beliefs have only been taught by "man" the last 100-150 years or so. If you study history you would find that most modern beliefs were taught only by man and usually they served a purpose, 9 times out of 10 a ne gative purpose, fear, oppression, control, superiority complex, judging, hypocrisy, us against them, slave/master relationships, man on a pedestal, etc.   My beliefs are actually historically in tune with the church fathers, the ones who wrote scripture that people have placed on the highest pedestal, yet when you espouse the beliefs of those that wrote that worshipped bible, you get told you are not biblical. [END QUOTE] This is why I share things that I write, and from men and women who have received wisdom from the Lord to help teach how we can get our interpretations wrong, and place the blame at the wrong Feet, as well as teach how historical beliefs affected writings in the past and currently. I've always found it interesting that those who believe God kills, steals, and destroys to teach us or train us, wont practice what they preach and teach or train their children that way. Hmmmmmmm... Prove me wrong... I dare ya... Or... Be humble enough to realize and admit that those negative things were attributed to God by a people that didn't have a full revelation of who He is and Christ showed with crystal clarity the character of God and His desire to heal, set free, and give life to the world, not a chosen few, and His manner of doing that was through love.

Many people believe strongly that God killed countless numbers of little children, as well as unborn children in the womb, in the OT. They also believe strongly that God is against abortion. Which one is it? 1 ) He either did those things and is then holding man to a higher standard than He holds Himself, and His Son's words and actions on Earth were lies. Or.. 2 ) He didn't do them and is wanting man to love others and consider life as sacred as He obviously does by His Son walking to the cross to give man eternal life and union with Him, and telling His followers to walk in love for even their enemies. I pick #2 even though it goes against trusting traditions of man. It does go along with trusting Jesus and right division of scripture.

Sometimes we can confuse an action that glorifies God. We have a tendency of looking at things in the "here and now" and sometimes we think violence or something else negative is the best course and gives God glory. As an example we can look at the many deaths in the OT, but Jesus came to show us a different way. I wanted to take a moment to use a word picture to define something glorifying God and something that doesn't. Here we go. ... .. 1 ) Karen is bathing her child, she gets a phone call, she never usually answers the phone, but this time runs to get the phone, she is lost in the conversation and without realizing it 20 minutes pass. She finally goes to check on her child and the child has drowned. When she conveys the story to others she says " I was distracted, and left my child in the tub and she drowned. Christians miss the fact in scripture that Old Testament Saints were only equipped to fight against people, they were not equipped to fight against their true enemy, the forces of darkness. So that's what was recorded, and influenced their beliefs, they didn't see the fingerprints of darkness influencing people so they fought only who they were equipped to fight. God in covenant with the Israeli tes protected them from destruction when He could. Their enemies who had been seduced by darkness and quashed and pushed away any amount of God's covering by their flirtation with sin, were led into battles they could not win by satan. satan, who despises God's favorite creation, man, also was successful at times in seducing the Israelites. At times he would seduce them into sin and quash or remove God's covering, and would lead them to destruction as well. In the NT Jesus reveals who our true enemy is, the forces of darkness, He then equips us to fight a spiritual ...

Jesus is the same, yesterday, today, and forever... Jesus never killed people. Jesus never made people sick. Jesus never did much of what has been attributed to Him in scripture and out. Jesus healed all that came to Him in faith. Jesus calmed storms Man says Jesus kills, makes people sick, attributes other satanic acts to Him, says He does not heal, and causes storms. Is man wrong or is Jesus wrong? I prefer to believe Jesus. #sosimpleachildcouldunderstand

Think about this one: "Would God kill your family members to prove a point?" Please give your answer below.

  God is in complete control? If God is in complete control then every "backslider" back slid because He made them do it, anyone that offended you did it because He made them do it, anyone that hurt you did it because He made them do it, any attacks on your health or home is because He made it happen, so why are you so angry? Anything that happens, good, bad, or ugly is due to God doing it or making it happen. So the obvious reaction should be to stop complaining about it, stop fighting it, just let it happen and learn to deal with it. It isn't anyone but God's fault according to you, if you follow this belief. It's not the devil made them do it, its God made them do it according to this prevalent theology. Talk about calling good evil and evil good. It's not like God, Himself, actually began in the first book of the bible saying that He, Himself, decided to give man dominion over the earth... Life would be so much easier in dealing with people (read: majority of Christians) if I spoke like an OT prophet. Death, judgment, kill, kill, kill, steal, destroy, fire, brimstone, earthquake taking out the entire left coast of the U.S., Hurricanes killing all your babies, God hates you, He really hates you...... I may in fact give up the good fight and start doing that. Bwaahhhahahahahahaaaa ... Who am I kidding, I never choose easy. I'm gonna keep sharing TRUTH, got that, TRUTH, unashamed, unabashed, and completely shockingly scandalous TRUTH, capitalize all the letters, TRUTH, also known as GRACE and known by His most wonderful name, JESUS. And if you can't see the love in that, maybe it's time for you to take off the religious glasses. If I didn't love ya, I'd regurgitate the same crap that would make me a heck of a lot more popular in Christian circles.

I don't understand why many Christians get mad when you proclaim a good God that is so very good all the time. A God that came to heal, not cause, sickness. Came to calm, not cause, storms. Came to set free from, not place into, prisons. And, you even show scriptural proof that He is gooder (I like that word) than the God they think He is, as well as historical proof that those who wrote about Him before He walked the earth had limited revelation of the difference between Him and darkness and were looking through the glass darkly. It's like to them He's only allowed to be a certain level of good and if He gets gooder, He somehow now becomes bad. Unfortunately their version of good includes Him doing what those not blinded know factually to be bad eg. steal, kill, destroy. I just don't get it. My God is gooder than I can even imagine. He's got to be to have died for the world while the world was still sinning. ‪ ‬
