  The reason we live in a "godless society" is because most American Christians™ don't seem to know the God Jesus showed the world. They mostly know an amalgamation of Egyptian and Greek false gods that love violence, kill their enemies, and rely on might not mercy to overcome.

Followers of Christ that believe that Christians are in some kind of war...   Your theology is all messed up.   Followers of Christ are to be a welcome party to the Kingdom, not some kind of soldier, Rambo, warrior against everyone of other sexual orientation, religion, etc.   Look, don't get caught up in that end times, fear filled rhetoric, all their "sign of the times" posts are bogus.   Their blood moons was kaka, their harbinger was bovine excrement. Their picking of any negative event and claiming God is judging is bad use of scripture.   They use OT scriptures from a people that didn't see God (Jesus' own words not mine) and twist it to apply to people in a new covenant. That's ignorance at its finest.   You are too smart for that, your heart is too big for that, don't let them cage your heart. Listen to your heart, your heart tells you that they are teaching wrong things, devoid of Love, devoid of Jesus, trust yourself.   Don't let them take...

  If you are a gentile, you don't have to indulge in any of the Jewish festivities, it doesn't suddenly make you Jewish, it doesn't make you any holier, it doesn't get you any closer to God than Him being in you, and it certainly doesn't make you any more appealing to God than you already are.   Just be yourself, God knew you would be a gentile before you were born, and He loved you before you were born. Stop trying to be someone else, just be yourself. You are worthy, at least God thought you definitely were when His son died for you, maybe you should start believing that.   You do know they are still waiting for their Messiah, you already know Him, why regress in your relationship with Jesus?

  My memory of 9/11. Of course everyone remembers where there were. I was in bed with my wife at the time. We had the news on, I was needing to get ready to go to work in a few. I didn't witness the first plane hit, but did see the 2nd plane hit. I knew at that moment it wasn't an accident. I immediately knew it was terrorists, Mid East terrorists, looking back I now know that the reason for my quick assumption was from the mass media indoctrination I was under at the time. I didn't really have a relationship with God at the time, so I was angry, I wanted to kill whomever was responsible. I wanted them all dead. You have to remember, I'm a military brat, I come from a huge military family, 13 aunts and uncles have served, cousins, my brother was a ARMY Ranger, he had served in Desert Storm, I went to enlist after high school but I failed the color test so that dashed my hopes of being a helicopter pilot in the ARMY, so to me that was my first go to, send the troops...

I've watched many healing testimonies. It seems like there are far more outside of the church than inside, and I think I've figured it out. America and specifically American Christianity™ is about titles, or personal impressions, it's not really about Jesus. You may smirk at that, but hear me out. In churches across this land, the majority, not all, but the majority of people look towards a title or reputation as a source of strength, power, or relationship with God. They wil l not hesitate to ask the pastor for healing, or someone in the church that has a reputation for healing, but a "normal" person they shun. The "normal" person will pray with them and in their minds they doubt, they don't believe it will happen, and they get what they believe. It's a shame because a lot of people I know that walk in healing, (incidentally, we all walk in healing we all as believers have the same power through the Holy Spirit, and I know some don't b...

Whenever I see American Christians™ supporting war, speaking about how their enemies deserve to be destroyed, praying for God's covering on those dropping bombs on innocents, praying for the deaths of those of other religions, saying that there is a point where you don't forgive, that people should be caged for their sexual orientation, and even going so far as attacking those of us who preach the non-violent, all inclusive, forgiving, Love filled, message of Jesus, I hear on their voices... American Christianity™ has to cling to the belief that Revelation and Jesus, speak about a future event and not the events of AD70. The reason being is that if they learned it relates to AD70 most of their theology falls apart and the Western Church would implode. Almost all of the supposed "prophets" would be found to be sham artists, all their hatred towards others could not be blamed on God, they would have to admit it's their own dark hearts, they would have to take responsi bility for their exclusionary behavior, one more sign of the darkness in their hearts, and they would have to admit that the "word from God" they always talk about is the cries of their own demented hearts wanting to murder billions and watch the suffering of those they don't like. So no, learning that the events relate to AD70 will never catch on in the Western Church or American Christianity™... It cant.

The greatest trick satan ever pulled was getting people to look at the bible as a "how to" guide for living their life, with every word on equal footing with Jesus Himself, rather than seeing scripture as the greatest story ever told showing man's ignorance of God and pointing people away from a false separated view of God, and towards an illumination of the Abba, God truly is, in the form of relationship with Jesus. This has caused man to not look at the founding relationship God had with Adam . They don't see the real truth of what God desired. How God did not sit on a throne with Adam prostrate like a worm before Him. God instead chose to travel down from the heavens and walk side by side with Adam enjoying the companionship of the creation He loves.   But due to this "trick", these men look at the separated status the Israelites were born into and try to emulate that mixed in with what they now know of Jesus, or their interpretation of who Jesu...

  I cringe when I notice myself, or others, giving more grace and mercy to a stranger than we do our own family members or people in other close relationships with us. It's doubly disturbing when it happens in a marriage, or committed relationship, where the couple should be a 3 stranded cord with God. It's not of God for us to behave in this manner, we fool ourselves if we believe we are acting in agreement with Him. Actions directed by Love are always the better way, always.

Bad things are not from God. Even if they turn out well in the end. He is never the author, cause, or bringer of evil, even if ultimately He can draw a benefit out of it.   You see God has an amazing way of redeeming seemingly unredeemed things. Whether it's people or circumstances, He can bring redemption and restoration out of any and all circumstances, but that doesn't mean He is the One who ca uses them all.   Don't get caught up in a mixed mentality of Christ and Judaism, Greek, Roman, or Egyptian mythology, and karma.   God = good Darkness = bad God = the ultimate Mr. Fix-it Satan = the ultimate saboteur It must be tiring to be such a good God and be accused of such bad things by mixed up kids that were taught incorrectly.

  So the church is so convicted that they have to preach messages against homosexuality and get involved with politics to force morality on the world, yet they seem to hardly ever address the racism and bigotry that is prevalent in the Western church, and their communities, which is actually a very real and disheartening issue. I was asked a great question on Facebook about taking a peaceful stance in 1941, and if we would have let evil run it's course there wouldn't be an Israel today, and if we can just stand by and watch terrorists wipe the Jews off the planet. Now the first assumption is that God couldn't supernaturally protect His people, but instead of opening that dialogue, I answered a different way, below is my  response and I decided to share it because I am sure the person who asked this question is not alone in these thoughts when it comes to my endorsement of peace: Isn't all life sacred? Is 1941 the catalyst for people devaluing life, hating different people groups, cultures, or nations? We can go even further back, because 1941 wasn't the worst "evil", when we check history, Hitler killed much less people than Mao Zedong. It's interesting how "pro life" Christians are, except when it comes to Arabs or Muslims.  You can't abort a fetus, but you can bomb pregnant Arab or Muslim women and kill their children to your hearts content in the name of a "holy war."  Like war is "holy," you dolt.  Makes perfect sense. Maybe that's why the world thinks that the Christian "religion" is full of crap.  "Christians" have dec ided which lives are worthwhile and which are worthless, but don't let anyone else make that decision, not even God who has said all life is in His image. Maybe they can learn some lessons from Israel to use on abortion clinics, they can absolve themselves of people's deaths in them by bombing them and claiming "human shields."

  You think Obama is so bad and so evil, and you just can't find it in your heart to pray for our leaders? Jesus had His disciples and the many followers of His praying for, and :::gasp:::, obeying even, their leaders... even a leader like Nero. Nero of all people! You haven't seen brutality until you find out what Nero did to Christians, yet Jesus wanted His followers to pray for and obey th at guy. You cover your eyes or just plain refuse to even watch the torturous scenes in horror movies? The utter depravity and sheer psychosis of Nero puts that to shame, and he actually did these things to people in real life, it wasn't make believe or special effects. Look around, we still live in one of the wealthiest countries, with opportunities even today, and you can even worship your God with no fear of being put on a stake and burned alive having your body used as a night light to light up your local city park by your leaders, and you really find it so, so difficul...

  It's funny with all the times I share that the bible doesn't make the claims people do about itself, those same people do so many things that are not biblical even though they cling so strongly to this inerrant argument and try to beat me up with scriptures. I seem to hold the words of scripture in higher esteem than they do, knowing it is not inerrant. Ok, if you follow your bible stop crying out for "more" of God, you have the fullness. Stop asking for God's presence, He will never leave or forsake you, or that you are separated from Him, nothing can separate you from His Love. Stop calling yourself a sinner, you are a Saint. Stop holding on to your old man, the old man is dead, you are a new creation. Stop "carrying your cross" you carry it once and then you died with Him, you were buried with Him, and you rose with Him.   I've noticed that people cling to scriptures that seem to imply that we should not spend time with the lost, that we should come out of the world, that we are not for this place, etc. Who am I to go against that, it is written in scripture after all. See, I admit and agree that those words do seem to be in scripture, but interestingly enough, Jesus seemed to have modeled the exact opposite. He sp ent most of His time with the lost, with some of the "worst" of the lost, in mainstream Christianity's eyes. In fact He spent time with them right where they were at not in a temple built by human hands. You see, a few years back I was drawn to a Love that I can't even begin to describe and at that time, I, in the blink of an eye was made new. I made a conscious decision that moment to follow that Man of unconditional Love, that God of Love, and follow Jesus the Christ. It's interesting when we look at Deuteronomy 20 and Matthew 5 and we notice that Jesus spoke against doing something that the writer of the OT attributed to God the Father. An incident where the writer conveys that God, Himself, is actively speaking words leading the people to engage in genocide of various peoples. It never ceases to amaze me at how many "Christians" have an angry, evil, fear mongering, hate-filled god. On second glance their god sounds an awfully lot like satan. Makes me wonder.

Some scholars say they were guilty of hypocrisy. I have to laugh even louder over that one, because I witness hypocrisy in the Body on an almost daily bas is, from many on Facebook, in person, on blogs, as well as from myself to be honest, and I and they are still standing. Some then say, well it's the Grace of God that protects us. So, billions of us get away with the same crime, but God just had it in for 2 people a couple thousand years ago. They are the 2 people that God's victory over sin didn't cover. They were the 2 people that had to be taught a lesson.
