The world as a whole, everyone in it, needs the Real Jesus, that I have to even say that means people haven't been listening. But, the world cannot know the Real Jesus until the church as a whole gets to know Him. That is the problem I am addressing in frustration with many of my posts. How can you send out missionaries to reach the world, or even your own backyard, for Jesus, when all the majority of American Christian™ churches do is teach people about the same false god those in the world, or in your own backyard, already worship only with a clever name change to "Jesus?" That makes no sense. So before people can meet the Real Jesus, the people tasked with sharing Him with the world need to know Him. That is simple logic. So people say how can you be so certain? How can you be so sanctimonious? Who are you to say who is following Jesus and who is not? What made you the unofficial spokesman for the Real Jesus?   It's always amusing when people renounce the fact that Jesus was against violence by saying when He said if someone "slaps your cheek, show them the other cheek," it was just related to insult, not physical violence.   The reason it's amusing is because just before saying the words they use to come to this strange conclusion by using mental gymnastics to defend their use of violence, and discount His meaning, He set up the message, and what He was speaking of, by very clearly r eferring directly to "an eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth."   And that, my friend, can in no way, shape, or, form be looked at as referring to an insult, that is obviously a very real, and very physical, act against someone if you in fact know why that issue was addressed in the OT.   He also concludes by saying to love your enemies, and to pray for those who persecute you. I can just imagine their disappointment when many Christians find out they won't really be able to stand over a cliff looking into hell, cheering at gay people, Muslims, atheist, and whomever else they choose to call an "enemy" being tortured.

  You think Obama is so bad and so evil, and you just can't find it in your heart to pray for our leaders? Jesus had His disciples and the many followers of His praying for, and :::gasp:::, obeying even, their leaders... even a leader like Nero. Nero of all people! You haven't seen brutality until you find out what Nero did to Christians, yet Jesus wanted His followers to pray for and obey th at guy. You cover your eyes or just plain refuse to even watch the torturous scenes in horror movies? The utter depravity and sheer psychosis of Nero puts that to shame, and he actually did these things to people in real life, it wasn't make believe or special effects. Look around, we still live in one of the wealthiest countries, with opportunities even today, and you can even worship your God with no fear of being put on a stake and burned alive having your body used as a night light to light up your local city park by your leaders, and you really find it so, so difficul...
