Theocentric Musings

So many Christians bragging they would die for Christ lately, but yet most do a sub par job of living for Him. Being known by your Love, taking care of the poor, taking care of immigrants, helping the marginalized, being against war, being against death, being against racism, not standing with those who abuse their authority, being against genocide, loving your enemy, promoting non violence, these are all Jesus' message and I see little of American Christians™ actually displaying them. So instead of bragging about dying for Christ, actually intentionally live for Him! This country, and the world, would be a better place for it.

Violence loving, or justifying, American Christians™ just can't handle me preaching non-violence. For the last couple years, they have mocked me, berated me, chastised me, have called me coward, and more. The sad thing is that they think that they are in fact doing a better job of following Christ by vowing vengeance or death on someone who may hurt them or their family. It's funny because the only thing I'm actually doing is preaching the exact same message Jesus preached. T hat's all! Yet these American Christians™ are so committed to the idolatry of enemy hate that it goes completely over their heads that that's in fact what I'm doing. I'm sorry that me being a Christ follower steps all over the adulterous relationship some American Christians™ have with Zeus, Mars, or Horus, but I have small feet so I have to make a lot of foot steps to stomp on those anti-Christ beliefs, so don't plan on seeing me stop preaching the message of Christ any ...

I notice there are large groups of people that are very vocal about not just bashing and mocking followers of Christ who preach and live out the non-violent teachings of Christ, but also portraying them as naïve or ignorant simpletons. It's quite interesting to watch them brazenly celebrate the anti-Christ behavior and life of the real life, severely flawed, psychopathic, racist, in need of Jesus, person portrayed in American Sniper. I could understand if they were just engaging in enjoyment of a make believe, fictional character, with no desire to emulate the behavior in the real world, but that isn't the case. They want more like him to go out and destroy their "enemies," foreign and domestic, if they can't snuff the life out of some faceless adversary themselves.
